MLM’s are not ripoffs, they just don’t work for people who are unwilling to work hard. They should never be marketing as a get rich quick because they are not. but if you do the work you are trained to do you will make a profit.
Yes, I agree that Multilevel marketing programs are rip offs. However, it is completly possible to do the same in innovative ways and that too at low costs.
This depends on what is your product / service and who are your customers. Firstly, you must know what not to do in a MLM program (www.mlmwatch.org/ 01General/ 10lies.html). This is where one ends up spending most of the money. In my experience once we avoid this, we will see a grand reduction in costs.
You too can try this out.
It has been my experience in life so far that if someone has to spend, oh, I’ll say, more than 15 minutes trying to sell you on a job, the job is not worth my time. You may find some multilevel stuff that can be lucrative for you but it won’t happen right away, and it may never happen.
Usually those kinds of things involve someone giving you an hour or two presentation to sell you on the idea. That is red flag number one. Secondly, even if it has potential, you probably won’t make even enough money to pay your bills right away. You should have some kind of slush fund that you can live off for a while before attempting this kind of work.
As I said before though, I make it a point to stay away from jobs that involve someone offering me a presentation lasting more than 15 minutes trying to “sell” me on what a “great opportunity” this is. I am very willing to work hard and have been quite successful in what I have done in my life. To say multi level marketing projects are not for people who are unwilling to work hard is misleading. I think most people fail because even if you work hard, your results are never as immediate as most of us need them to be to pay our bills. Many of us also do not want to burden our family and friends with our own presentaions and then asking them to provide names and phone numbers of their other family and friends. Trust me on this, I have been approached like this by family and friends.
MLM’s can be good opportunities, but they are not for everyone. One only has to look as far as Amway to see a successful and honest business that employs MLM.
The only place where “success” comes before “work” is in the dictionary.
The best way to predict your future is to create it.
I was hesitant when I first looked into MLM. I did a lot of research and found some companies were SCAMS.
But I found a company that has worked great for me for the last 1 1/2 years. By no means am I rich, but I work my business a few hours a day and make a lot more than I could if I worked a traditional 9 to 5 job even with my degree. And I have the flexibility to be home with my children and still have a life.
I steered clear of any company that guaranteed the amount of money you would make, or said it was easy. I believe that you get what you put in . I found a company that people in my area are doing financially very well at. I did not want to represent a company that said ” a friend of a friend once met someone that did really well. ” I wanted to be able to meet people personally who have become financially secure working in this business. And that is what I found.
DO YOUR RESEARCH. NO ONE IS GOING TO HAND YOU FREE MONEY.
If you would like more information about the company I chose email me at youlookbeautiful@verizon.net
This is for people that are serious and who don’t want to be misled as we have tried many things and have found a company that has been around for 21 Years and pays you to advertise for them. My wife and I just started and are doing well. It is not an MLM company and no selling, no deliveries or stocking product. My wife’s aunt has been working with this Company (Melaleuca) for a little over 3 years and home schools 3 kids and makes $9,000 a month. It is a 500 Inc company and the CEO is on the U.S. Chamber of commerce board. I can arrange a web cast with my wife’s aunt for you and you can decide by yourself and WE WILL help you be successful. It is an honest Win Win.
If you want to see a web cast (presentation) from your home let me know and I will arrange it as that truly is the way to see all about Melaleuca. Have you heard of it. We have just gotten started with my wife’s aunts help as it is a team effort and it is fun. Just a quick F.Y.I. 8 out of 10 people that see the web cast join the company and 95% of the people that join re-order product each and every month. Let me know when you are ready and we will set up the web cast.

I have an excellent one. Get back with me.
In my opion MLM is not a ripoff.First look at the credibility and the company’s standing in the market.Every company has a level of position but your performance is judged on how you work i.e efficiency & effort. You may climb a corporate ladder in the job but the wall that you climb on is not yours.Once you know the credibility & compnay’s standing, your income is based on your performance & efforts.
I may able to help you give you more insight on this.Email me at ppandya_@yahoo.com

It’s very simple. Just check to see what the company’s standings are with the Better Business Bureau. That tells you if the company is honest and what the feedback is.
I wouldn’t say that most MLM programs are rip-offs, but people have to be more careful about which program they get involved in. I have worked some that were excellent, but the timing was wrong. I have also worked some where my market was limited to women. You have to factor everything in when choosing a company, but most important is your product. You have to have a firm belief that this is something everyone needs or wants, and you have to believe that you can market it to people.
You can never go wrong when choosing a product that the baby boomers are looking for. So, most of the boomers have raised their families now, so they’re not looking to fill their homes with a bunch of products that they are essentially buying from their own “store”. They already have enough products kicking around and plastic in their cupboards, they are pretty stuck on which beauty products they use, so you have to think about what they want now……What they are looking for now is health and anti-aging. It’s become a multi-billion dollar industry. The boomers have the most disposable income and are very open to alternate streams of income as they prepare for retirement.
The beauty of this business, is that the boomers are your main target, but the product is beneficial to everyone, including pregnant women and babies. It’s a product that aids in both the prevention as well as the treatment of disease. Athletes are endorsing this product because it cuts their recovery time in half and gives them the energy they need to keep going.
When people experience this product, they are so excited about what it has done for them, that they share it with everyone…I know, I see this every day.
This company has eliminated all of the usual obstacles associated with MLM and made it much simpler to start earning a lucrative income in a shorter period of time.
I’ve done many programs before, and nothing has compared to this one.
